Cube Runner: iPod Touch Review
July 15, 2008 4:59 am Game ReviewFirst a game that was released on the internet in a flash version and now ported over to the iPod Touch, Cube Runner makes a relatively simple concept into an intriguing and exciting game for the iPod.
Control
This game, along with Super Monkey Ball, primarily uses the iPod’s built in accelerometer for control. Thus the same rating is given to it. There is a small difference though! Calibration is an option, meaning you don’t have to deal with whatever the developer felt was the position that most people would be playing in. This makes the game more enjoyable to play because you can find your own favorite position for play. It could be laying on your back, on the floor, flat etc. You name it, you can do it.
Control: 9/10
It deserves a better ranking than Super Monkey Ball, purely because it can be calibrated. But I still don’t recommend for car trips.
Game Play
There are three default modes of play: Easy, Medium and Hard. But with a URL to a new level online you can download and play this level on your iPod, presumably, for free. Easy is really far too easy. Medium is alright, but for me Hard is like getting punched in the face. Really really really hard. Seriously.
Game Play: 10/10
Good variety of modes and the ability to download new levels.
Graphics
Not much to say, its a little arrow running through a field full of cubes while attempting to dodge them. They’re all very well rendered, its very quick to respond and it’s very smooth. Not much more to say is there?
Graphics: 10/10
Not hard to do well in this category for this game. Very simple, but it works.
Sum it up
Control: 9/10
Game Play: 10/10
Graphics: 10/10
Overall: 29/30 or 97%
I have to say that this game is one of my favorites on the App store. Sure, there are newer games being released all the time, but this game is so simple and easy to use it’s addictive. There have been a few problems with the startup but I primarily blame the firmware for that.

PS. As the previous address of an e-mail has been removed also all letters on it have been lost I is compelled to make this dispatch once again.
PS2. To send url your site on an e-mail stop.web.spam@gmail.com is a unique way to avoid a spam from me. To write abuses to the various “stop spam” sites - it is useless.
PS3. Your addresses of an e-mail are not necessary to me, you can create an e-mail through free service and send me yours url through this e-mail
PS4. sorry for my bad English
